WE ARE
SUPPLYING VERY
CHEAP
KOSHER MEALS
DURING CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC
During this very difficult
time we have diversified our activities and are
also very busy providing food for those in need as well as for the elderly
and those in isolation. We offer the budget food at prices people can afford.
In an average week we are
currently supplying over 120 meals
each week
to around 40 homes.
Over the past two years we have
supplied over 400
Shabbos Dinner Boxes at half cost price, and many have
been gifted FREE to those who cannot afford even the reduced price.
All the time those who cannot afford
even our very cheap prices receive
their food FREE of charge. Meals are distributed accross the city of
Glasgow as far away as the Anniesland area.
During the past two years Lubavitch have distributed almost
600 Afternoon Tea Boxes containing Cheese blintze, cakes,
sandwiches and more.
The feedback from so many people receiving these gifts has been
overwhelming. People many of whom live on their own said the gifts
brightened up their day and were most welcome.
A further batch of 60 gifts will be distributed for Purim and
all donations are gratefully welcome.
To provide such a service
funds must be raised to subsidise these meals and
food gifts.
Any generous donation your can donate will be much appreciated.

the background to the custom of Moshiach’s Seuda and also spoke at
length about the meaning of the coming redemption through Moshiach
and how it will affect the entire world both Jew and non-Jew alike.
This end of Yom Tov seudah followed
the communal Seder for 110 guests,
the Pesach BBQ for 55 people, the inviting of numerous guests for Yom Tov
